Great detail on all the models. Now I know what can be done. All it takes is a lot of patience.Enjoy seeing what other modellers have achieved.Really enjoyed the video.

HMCS AGASSIZ (Corvette)
This truly stunning piece was created by Barry Sharman of Southampton international Plastic Modellers’ Society (IPMS UK). A replica of the HMCS Agassiz with a mind boggling level of detail not only on the outside but also on the inside visible through cut out sections of the hull. Barry invited me to see the other side of the model and was amazed to see several crew members restoring that side. Spectacular and no wonder it was protected by a glass case that Barry kindly removed so I could film it without chance of picking up any reflections.

    Absolutely, Modelling par excellence👍
Just think of the planning that must have gone into this! Building such detail deck for deck from the keel up 😲 Never mind the superb weathering, just back from several N Atlantic crossings!?
And where the heck did he get all the interior detail from ?????
Fabulous, just great shame that she'll never float 🤔

I’ve never seen such a motley crew ... other than on my tugboat. Photo to follow. Ha! in addition the Junk is really a sight to behold and enjoyed by members and the public alike.

'VOYAGER of the SEAS' RC Cruise Ship
Paul Chilcott built this stunning floating replica of the 'Voyager of the Seas' in under 12 months. The hull was carved from a single block of blue foam. The detail on this cruise ship is remarkable and even features a climbing wall, 'flow rider' and outside cinema just as the full size vessel. Commentary provided by Steve Dean.

MS Voyager of the Seas is the lead ship of the Voyager-class of cruise ships operated by Royal Caribbean international.

I saw it, and spoke to Paul the builder at the Warwick show last week. its a truly amazing model, which you never seem to run out of details to see. A real credit to an amazing builder. Best wishes, Dave W 😊

Truly captures the look of the real model. The detail is very good and it is a credit to Paul that the model actually sails with all the cabin etc detail above the waterline, the sign of a real master of his craft.

i have that same kit i bought just before my daughter was born in 1989. she is undergoing a "fleet rehab & maintenance"
overhaul currently. actually the first true rc watercraft i
started with, after a lifetime of building static models. that kit was of high quality, but has of course been discontinued some years ago. i transferred her from uscg lifesaving station manasquan inlet, new jersey, to uscg lifeboat station ludington, michigan, and changed the hull number from cg-44329 to cg-44345. i served in the uscg in nj, but always wanted to be stationed in ludington, mi. semper paratus!

Voyager of the Seas cruise ship [Filmed in UltraHD/4K]
This stunning model was exhibited at Wings & Wheels Model Spectacular Show. The level of detail on this model is amazing and at distance you would not know the difference from the real cruise ship that takes paying passengers to Europe, Mediterranean, Caribbean, and Asia.

MS Voyager of the Seas is the lead ship of the Voyager-class of cruise ships operated by Royal Caribbean international.

Great video, shame they no longer produce any of their boats. I still have a Spearfish new in the box waiting to be made up. I had a Spearfish back in the 80's with a Irvine 61 in her. She was great fun on the water.

Original Aerokits Solent Lifeboat
Decided to sail the Solent so took some video to share. Uses 2 Bhuler 12v brushed motors with 4 bladed 45mm PropShop props and 12v 12AHr SLA. Twin Electronize ESCs. Radio is Futaba 6Ex but I will probably change to the Taranis so I can get better control using some bespoke Tx settings to co-ordinate the props and rudder.
Lifeboat crewe had been on a night out so not quite vertical. Aplogies for the shaky video, it's difficult to sail and video at the same time.

very nice boat and yes it is difficult to video and sail at the same time ! try to get someone else to steer while you video !! using a tripod is best. Les Breame

    Thanks for your feedback.
I was using a monopod so I could pan and follow the model. I agree the tripod works much better. All my fellow sailors were otherwise engaged unfortunately.
