Can anyone tell me what boat is this.... I bought it from a friend who couldn't find any reference to it, very streamlined, it's got a fiberlass hull and cabin,twin motors.

I have just acquired a part built original kit. I will be restoring this to its full potential in due course but am sharing the pics for now. I will post as a build blog.
Condition is good and the build seems to be to a good standard. I intend to replace the single proptube with a double and use a couple of brushless motors. 👍
at last I took it for its first run on the lake and it went like a dream,can't tell you how good it looked lots of interest from others,its running on twin Emax EL4030/10 motors,two Hobbywing 60 brushless speed controllers and four 18.5 volt 5s1p LI polymer 4000 mah 35c batteries .what can I say but a really good kit from speed line models,would love to build the trent now but don't think the wife would let me go missing for another year in the shed but fingers crossed

1/12th scale Guard lifeboat still not finished still havent painted the cockpit thats why the blue window but just couldnt wait to see it on the water. Powered by twin Pittman motors it has six low profile 12v batteries mounted below the waterline to aid in its self righting.
This is the Metcalf kit and it has taken approximately two years to build!
It had its maiden voyage on Monday 8th July.
It is powered by two Speed 720 motors and a 12 volt battery.
It is sailed on Cheddar Model Boat Club lake in Somerset.

Thought you might like to see some pics of my RTTL. 35" long and built from the Vic Smeed plan. She is powered by 2 belt driven 480 motors with 2 speed controllers and 2 7.2 NiMH batteries. Based on the boat stationed in the Maldives in the 1960's.

My fist at attempt not that great I know built from scratch using old wood from the garage cutting it into 1mm thick planks and double planking it and spliting 6mm ply to get 2mm, found some old veneer to do the deck,Powerd by two 480 electric motors 7.2.
Only had the bath test at the moment but hoping get on the water soon at Fariford leys Aylesbury
HI John, for a first attempt at scratch building that looks very good. The plan I built from had no info at all just line drawing of the out line three view, placement of the bulkheads and of course the actual bulkheads. You can see from my blog how I built the basic hull. But I have built and flown planes since 1968 and would shudder to think what I put into the air in the early days let alone the dodgy radio gear (reeds!) So keep trying it is all a big learning curve, Thanks for your input Brian

Please Ignore the Buoy incident , I was not concentrating watching my wife with my phone! if you notice the turns are very large, so I have increased throws on the rudders, will try again and if not, apply some mix to motors through the rudder input on the Tx. this is the Maggie B she is a modified Sothampton R T R tug. there is a video of her in the video section. the main casing was taken off and the lower three quarters of it was cut off, so that it reduced the overall height., she is fitted with two M tronic speed controllers and a new larger5,000millI amp battery which is fitted across the hull behind the motors and in front of the steering servo, she still has the original props but they are now turnig outwards to go ahead. she is now a very handy and stable boat.
Hello to all my Fellow ShipWrites, I have been away for many months due to the Passing of a lovely Lady that was a huge part of my life. After re-locating in the Fall, I plan to finish off projects that have been waiting far to long.
I have a great lakes freighter that needs finishing, a build of a 1/72 scale Gato class submarine and a small scale fishing boat that needs to come out of the box and take a space I have for her on my book case.
