After a recent sailing where the schooner took on water, I looked at how to improve the model. The original design required the deck to be removable to access the rudder servo.
I extended the rudder control rods and placed the servo forward inside the spacious schooner cabin area.
I glued and used clear silicone to seal the section after the alterations.
Any further water will be able to drain through the scuppers I added to the bulwarks of the deck.
