I tried DOCK first - 0 letters, second try HELM - 0 letters, third try SPAR - 2 letters, and fourth guess with a clue I nailed it!... The guy with the highest average wins right? 🤔 I am up to 3.8! 😀 Ohhh...wait... 😞 Just having some fun this morning...RR

Brain took a day off (union strike meeting or something🙄) so chance took over and tried a new 3 vowel starter. And 'as chance would have it' he hit the jackpot😀

2 today. My starter word, course, gave me four letters in the correct place with one in the wrong position. My luck is bound to end soon. It started when I wrote that I hadn’t had a hole in one then next day, it happened. I wish I could buy a lottery ticket in Hungary.😃

My English master would be turning in his grave if he saw what this game does to our language.

I was quite proud of myself this morning, as having tried the word anchor I actually managed to get three letters in their correct position the N,O, and R. Then it all went wrong as the word UNMOOR does not exist as such, so back to the usual four attempts with clue. If one was standing on the quayside and decided to "UNMOOR" his boat he would use the terminology CAST-OFF.

First guess (Starter B for 4) gave me first and last letters BUT
middle letters were da wong way wound! 😭DOOH.
