action noisy thing

Yes windows 8 can be a pain. I've just noticed that my p100 noisy thing software had disappeared off my PC, one of several programs Windows 8 deemed I didn't require. The really annoying part is this all happens without your knowledge and certainly without any warning.
If you are an administrator you should be able to reinstall the program and run in an earlier version of Windows. I reinstalled mine yesterday and can select the sounds. Not tried programming the unit but I will report more after I have tried my p100.
I did have a problem with the CD - the installation stalled. I copied the CD to a directory on my PC and 1 file (sound) wouldn't load so I skipped it. I was then able to install to my PC and load the program OK. 😀
