I built this in four weeks working every day. Originally a static display kit I have converted the build suitable for RC.
I've used a Raboesch sealed prop shaft, a 2836 brushless motor and a Hobbywing car ESC.
I decided due to lack of time to leave this in clear coat and it seems to go down well with observers. I added many extra details that are not a part of the kit. I've posted a link to the full photo gallery in chronological order.
Questions are welcome.

How about obsolete classics? I built a Midwest Boothbay 30" Lobster boat not that long ago. Problem is you just cannot get them anymore (apart from the 2 unbuilt kits I have in my locker) 🤣 Looks absolutely to die for but not much help when you can't buy one.
EDIT re quality thank you. I do have over 45 yrs as an electrical/engineering craftsman so I know how to use tools
Keep 'em coming T 👍
If necessary we'll build on another dock 😉
