Springer hull

Basic hull finished dry fit motor, shaft and prop, plus rudder. Blue painters tape great for holding hull bottom, better than clamps for 1/16th ply.

I've built a few, if you get the shaft as level as posable it help to stop them from turning in to subs at speed.😔

Springer Tug

Almost ready for paint, all white parts 3d printed, ( I know it's cheating but if I bought a kit it would have plastic mouldings) that' my excuse anyway!😁😁😁😁

I think that using a 3D printer is far from being lazy. Most of us buy kits to build that have a load of laser formed parts. You are starting with a reel of plastic thread. I would like to have one also. No limits to what can be done. Well done.

Now painted not going overboard with detail this is just a fun boat,Viper marine 15 speed control, 1 1/2 prop, cut down large brass rudder, more than 3 1/2 pounds lead ballast, will be adding nav lights, maiden voyage set for Sunday 2nd February weather permitting 🤞😊
