Billing Boats St Canute Tug Kit

Hello, can anyone suggest a wood filler for my Billings Boat St Canute? At present l am using a J.Perkins light weight wood filler but l find that it becomes very powdery and by the time you have sanded down with a very fine sandpaper l remove more of the filler than necessary, is there any other filler out there that l could use?
Appreciate any suggestions that you guys might have?
Thanks
Richard

St Canute Billing Boats Build Update

Hello all...
Throughout the lockdown l have managed to proceed with some pace the build of my St Canute tug, please don’t look to closely at the stern! I replaced the planking with some carved and shaped balsa blocks. The one big problem l have now is some missing brass parts (2off) to the forward anchor winch, Cornwall Model Boats have contacted Billing Boats but to date no luck, if anyone out there has any suggestions l would be most grateful.
Many thanks
Richard..
