Hello Roy
Sorry it has taken so long to reply to you and I was correct that you helped me a great deal in August 2021 through MBM when I rashly stated to you that I wished to build a J class. Your detailed explanation of the build helped me to think maybe `a bridge too far`
I did buy plans for Endeavour both 1.80 and 1.35 the smaller of the two I ended up building 3 half hull models on display boards as Christmas presents for family. They are beautiful, I also made one of Bluenose.
I again, rashly bought the plans for a 6mtr "Romanza" which at the time thought a good idea in fact I bought the cedar strips for the plank on frame hull and cut out the frames and have them in my garage still firmly fitted to a building board, it was at this point when I changed my car I realised getting it to water was impossible, what a chump I am.
Well Roy it is so good to bump into you again as it were and I was very impressed when I checked out your harbour on MBW, you must be one of if not the most prolific model boat builder contributing to the site.
Take care and best regards ChrisG

Roy,
Could you send me a pdf of the Bella plans. Is it pretty close to the YM-Senior?

My schooner has 1 servo to handle the sails; a HiTek 322 with no problems. Here are pictures of the other servos in my vessels. The only none HiTek is in the Mini M12, it came installed if it works why change it.

Roy, I did this And it looks like a lot (71 pages) of videos by different contributors on various topics. No videos specific to model boats (closeups, action, etc.) Without searching them out?

Hi roycv:
It’s a pleasure meeting you.
By the way my name is Julian from across the pond down here in sunny Miami.
I’m trying to connect with skydive trying to find out about where can I find mastman.
He is supposed to be the maker of the his Springer push tug.
I really love the lines and details of this beautiful model and worst case canario I will scratch build one.
With all your knowledge, can you point out the way to where I could find this model?
Thanks for your comments and your knowledge about r/c models.
Im a wood model maker and a newbie at r/c and I’m absorbing everything I will need to build my Caldercraft Imara.
Thank you for your inputs.
Julián from Miami.

Hiya,
Great to hear from you about this great kit. I've seen a conversion on another site and I have tried to contact the author but as yet no reply. The website address of the conversion is:-#
https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?2314493-Mantua-Bruma-my-first-sail-boat-build/page2
There are some good pictures but I would need a lot more info - like how to attach a removeable keel, how to get the sails made , size and weight of keel and probably a lot more things as well! I have built the Riva Aquarama but I'm relatively new to make model boats compared to a lot of the members!
Also the same guy (Gupi) did another blog of the build before doing the conversion :-

Looking forward to hearing more from you
Cheers Duncan😊

Unfortunately it has lost the rest of the text I had created after the website links were added.
So the 'jist' of the text entered :- was that I have tried to contact Gupi recently but as yet I haven't had a reply back. I'm relatively in experienced compared to a lot of members on this site so there are a lot of questions I would like to ask like how to attach the removeable keel, how to get the sails made, how to control the sails and many more I'm sure. I have just finished building a Riva Aquarama so I thought this could be the next project!
Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Cheers
Duncan😊

I found this link on ebay. What do you think? I'm not familiar with mixers so do the receiver leads from these ESC's plug into the mixer and then the mixed lead plugs into the receiver. Is this so the motors can be used to steer the boat instead of using the rudder? Cheers Duncan
