That boat should be relatively easy to spot on the water, very colourful, and a beautiful paint job. Looking forward to seeing the car completed. Regards, Gary.
I finally have the paint on my tow vehicle. 1954 Chevy custom. It will pull the SK Drag boat. I will add bare metal foil to the beltline and window trim for a chrome appearance. Detail painted engine bay and hydralics pump (fake). Moving on to final assy. While I am in the work shop my wonderful wife works her puzzles, this one is my favorite so far (last pic). I think I am swaying her to the nautical side 😁 I will update asap. Thanks, RR

Shame about your pond, seems the fun police are out all over the world. Luckily not too bad down here yet, but give it time. I've found it's mainly the imports who complain the most about everything, want to turn our country into the place they've just come from. They get into councils and govt and want to change the rules, (we have a female greeny in parliament from Minnesota doing that at the moment, -wants us all to ride bicycles)😂😂😂
Hi River Rat, It sounds like these do gooder's are getting around everywhere. There are fewer and fewer ponds or lakes over here in the UK where you can use nitro or petrol powered model boat's. This is why I have sold all of mine off. But some are even banning brushless or as they describe them speed boat's. I have to travel about 45 miles to use my boat's, that's without joining a model boat club. But it cost's too much to join these clubs when a government pension is a pittance to live on. I am afraid I am not myself one who wants to use sailing yachts or slow moving tugs or battle ships. Don't get me wrong, I am not putting those down who use these model boat's it just not my preference. I have got just one that's pretty mild on speed and that is going to be used as a recovery rescue boat, get out there quick and then tow back in slowly. My father got my first boat kit for me when I was 9 and it was the RAF Crash Tender and from there on I was hooked on speed 64 years later I am still speed crasy. I look forward to seeing video of you towing and launching your boat, and then one of the boat on the water at speed. My only car will be too fast to tow a boat it is the Traxxas Stampede. Once again t's speed I went for. I might have to look for a car at a boot fair and maybe convert that for towing. I will have to build a trailer as well.
