Midwest Main Lobster Boat

So, while I was waiting for the varnish to dry on the Seguin, I started the Lobster boat.
I just like the lines. I had a couple of lobster boats in the marina I managed in CT. Similar style.
Easy Build. Called the success Series by Midwest. That means I should be able to do it? 🤞
Began coating the interior with epoxy.

    Thanks for the info, Ron.
I do like to use Titebond III when I have the time to let it dry.
The CA works well when I am planking, because it sets up so fast. I don't know how I would do it with slower setting glues.

Ron - it tends to be used instead of CA not aliphatic which I use a lot as well as Titebond III. It's the CA that tends to be a problem for a lot of folks.

What type of motor is in there, brushed or brushless? My Lobster Yacht runs on a brushed motor as she rides the waters in a stately manner.

I know there are lobster boat races but mine is not one that joins in such activities.

    Hi Ron
    The motor is brushed.
It is part of the power package that Midwest put out for some of its boats.
i intend mine to run as a normal work boat.

Progress

This is my Lobster Boat at present.
a couple of changes to the plan, as this was intended, by Midwest, to be a static model.
1.Operating Foward Windows.
2.Operating Foward Hatch.
3.Removable rear deck to access the rudder.
4.Removable cabin Roof to access the servos and Batt.
She just needs bottom Paint, and installing the electronics.
And, Yes She Floats😮😮😂🤣
