Club racer v2 Economy version

My old club racer (v1) had a few issues,
It was based on a Stealth Military Craft (24in).

1 Would submerge if hit in the rear by another boat.
2 if flipped would not self right (not sure if new one will)
3 Not great in choppy water.

Sacrifice v1 to provide running gear.
New scratch build boat has a deeper 'v' profile, a few inches longer (27.5)

With the current cost of living going through the roof I could not justify the expense of new running gear for my next club racer. so my old boat had to become a donor, providing the running gear.

The build has been quite quick using 9cm wide planks and gorilla glue, there are no real plans, but as per the rules of the club, the boat should be semi scale military or pleasure boat.

I have based mine on a Chris craft from the 1950's but only loosely as I need a wider all round deck to be able to seal the boat with sticky tape.
The 1950 Chris Craft 25′ Sportsman Sedan is the basis of the boat.

Similar to the EeZeBilts From Keil Kraft's Neptune design, please note this is superstructure only the hull is my own design.

Hi Shipmates,

While working on other boat projects I quicky spent some time, roughly painting this old racer, unfortunately this fun class of boat is no-longer run by the club I belong to.

From my last post I have changed the cabin's shape from an angled front to a curved front. and painted the underside black and the top blue. the paint is very slapdash.

Regards
Roy

Hi Shipmates,

With the rushed construction and the terrible paintwork I think it will call it 'loft find' or 'Fire wood'.
This is most probably the worst boat I've made, its a bit embarrassing.

Hi Shipmates,

Put in the old hardware from club racer v1, added a go faster stripe (That always makes boats go faster it works for cars too.)
Added windows (Tape), a driver/captain, a name plate 'Fire wood'

She's actually beginning to look quite smart Roy😮
GF tape makes all the difference👍
(That's Go Faster NOT Girl Friend, or maybe she does!😉)
    But aren't Drones crewless?😁
    Happy Speed Sailing.
    Cheers, Doug😎

    Hi RNinMunich,

The Gaffer tape is holding most of it together, the Captain on this craft is 'clueless' so I thought that would do!
