My favourite is number three, the two couples looking slightly worse for wear either during or after a night out, it's the enigmatic smile on the face of the lady wearing the tie that does it for me. Painting figurative abstract is another hobby I love to do.
Here are some of my very colorful paintings.

It must be a pleasure to have the family that contributes to your hobby, a wife that is proud of your achievements and sews your sails.
On my case, I had to buy a sewing machine and learn how to use it.
Sadly she is not interested in any of my hobbies.

An enjoyable hobby helps with sanity these days 😜

My wife enjoys watching the various boats take shape, knowing that most were done by me, from the drawing stage, through the building and finally the sailing.

I know she is proud of them because she tells people who are watching from shore, about the particulars. When I take a break, she tells me about the people who have been watching.

I am generally standing out in the lake about knee deep sailing.

She sewed the sails for the schooner.

Yes, I keep a budget book and try not to get to zero. The family supports me and gives me gifts of $$ to go towards the hobby budget.

I am not building anything now, as my Harb’r is full.

I am alone now at 75y.o. However from my early 20s thru early 70s I enjoyed the company from 2 marriages & 2 common law relationships. My latest partner passed 18mo ago. Each had some objection to my various hobbies, initially RC gliders, then model aircraft & boats, Amateur "Ham" radio(even tho it was part of my job as a federal Radio Inspector to attend meetings of various ham clubs). My last model railroad occupied 250sq ft in a 1000 sq ft house,& she loved researching & travelling to tourist railroads all over Canada & the USA. I duly put my efforts into a succession of dollhouse structures as well as an ongoing tide of plumbing, electrical, house & cottage renovations. As long as you give them most of the efforts that their interests demand, er, I mean, require, then there shudnt be any serious objections to you having a hobby that keeps you out of bars (pubs) & strip clubs. Just my experience/opinion.

I love to spend time building…. My ❤️ wife knows where I am ( in my shop❤️❤️ ) The cost broken down to an hourly rate, minimal…….
It’s a win / win answer but it can get a little ❄️ 🌪️🌩️ If I spend too much time at it

I could say that is my dream or what makes me happy.
Now the reality is that my wife calls my hobby my second wife that I give priority to. 🤣

I could not agree more.

In a smaller way when I build a model boat I have a 'Notes on boats' A5 notebook. I use a fresh page note the name of the new boat build, date and relevant details. Things to be done and also 'It would be nice if....' Like a wish list but less likely things. Let the brain work on it and many of the 'wishes' work out.

Generally when you get up in the morning write down the jobs of the day as when you have done them you will feel good about the day that has passed.

To all married chaps (and chapesses) if your partner wants something done do it straight away. You will have to do it anyway for peace etc. So why not do it willingly and make 2 people happy?
